                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE 6300
                   BLOCK OF BONNY OAKS DRIVE, BEING ON THE
                   SOUTHEAST LINE OF BONNY OAKS DRIVE SOUTHWEST
                   OF DEWAYNE ROAD FROM R-3 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO
                   C-2 CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
             
              A tract of land located in the 6300 block of Bonny Oaks
              Drive, being on the southeast line of Bonny Oaks Drive
              southwest of Dewayne Road.  An unnumbered tract of land
              shown on plat of Charles E. Jenkins Subdivision, of
              record in plat book 19, page 97, R.O.H.C., being the
              property described in deed book 3629, page 647, R.O.H.C. 
              Tax Map No. 129N-C-6.
             
         from R-3 Residential Zone to C-2 Convenience Commercial 
District.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
